06.23.05 - 12:59 am You know what sucks? Living in Oregon. We're skipped over by so much. We're that almost-square state between the West Coast (California) and the Northwest (Seattle). Oregon is considered to be so rural and full of hicks (and hippies), and Portland is barely on anyone's radar. It's like the Dakotas and Delaware: it's not a state. For how much I absolutely love it here, I hate how we get shafted for, well, everything. I'm glad that I'll be living in California next year. I'll be close to a big city, and somewhat close to an even bigger one. It will be sunny all the time...none of this rain-in-the-summer bullshit. People will have actually heard of my state know where it is. California? YES. Went to Terry's/Nick's for the last time. Had a Zoolander party with T.Li, Dross, Jeff, and some other girl whose name I already forgot. Leanne? Maybe. Aaron stopped by; it was cool to see him. We go way back. Kindergarten? Oh no, I'm talking preschool. Jewish Community Center is where it's at (I'm not jewish, whatever, JCC still rocks). All the cool kids went there. Today was nice and relaxing. I woke up at 845 to take Cal and our homestay person to fencing and came back and slept. I woke up just in time to watch Fall Out Boy. What? They're number freaking TWO on TRL? I think so. I found a couple of cool bands today that I might have to spend some money on if I don't find enough time to download Limewire before I leave. Oh yeah, did I mention that I leave on friday? Is friday capitalized? I'm going to Vail, Colorado and Annapolis, Maryland for two different lacrosse tournaments with the Oregon All-Star team. We get to go to the women's lacrosse world cup while on the east coast, too. I'm pretty excited. My mom volunteered to come with us because, hell, I have no idea why, but at least I wont have to worry about not having enough money. Having a human ATM is the only reason I agreed to her coming. I'm a whore, I know, I don't care. Don't count on getting ahold of me online from the 24th until the 3rd of July. Send me many text messages, though. I'll talk more about it tomorrow. Um, hmm. Oh yeah! I was an extra in a MTV show yesterday. Exciting, no? They shot us playing cards (with the coolest, most effective cards ever) in the cafeteria and chilling during the hall scene. Lakey and I got to 'meander' (or did we decide it was stroll? Or saunter? I forgot) across the hall a couple of times. It was extremely exciting. Look for my acting debut on MTV in October. I haven't played the Sims in a week. Be proud of me. Goodnight :D
