Well, last Outdoor School session. It was sad, blah blah blah. We had some really cool people out this week. It wasn't the group that I was hoping for, not an all-star cast, but it was still pretty awesome. Props to Schulte for being the coolest cabin partner ever. I would have had the shittiest week if she wasn't out there with me. It was a lot of fun, but coming away from this week didn't feel like any of the other ones. This week was actually the most fun. Week #4 was my best performance/hardest week, week #3 was my most favorite, #2 was just, well, #2, and my first week ever had the most cohesive and best dynamics, but this session was so much fun and I'm glad that I ended it this way.

The thing that I'm most sad about for leaving it was not that I was leaving Outdoor School, but that I was leaving Namanu. I first went to Camp Namanu when I was seven years old. Namanu has been a part of me for over a decade, and I was afraid that this would be the last time that I would ever be able to even be there. That, for me, was the scariest part. I was leaving the place that I knew almost as much as my own home. Hell, my mom even went there. Namanu truly is my second home, a place where I feel comfortable no matter who is around me.

Oh, Namanu.

It was nice to come home to this, though:

Thanks, mom and dad.

So this weekend is grad parties, cleaning up, and getting ready for work/job interviews. I'm kind of excited for the sun to come out. Damn you, Oregon weather!
