Rocked the IB History life today. One of my theses: Juan Perón was able to maintain power in Argentina after his 1946 election due the fascist ideals--corporatism, nationalism, and suppression of opposition--to which he strongly adhered. Brought in Cárdenas, agro-export elites, Evita, the GOU, everything that you could ask for in a Perón essay. My Spanish Civil War essay was somewhat weaker, but I'm still digging the awesome feeling that I got from Paper 1 and Paper 2. Tomorrow is all about the Americas, so it better ask ten thousand questions about Mexico and South America because I can rock those hard. NOTHING ABOUT THE US, PLEASE.

Dross and I visited Sandy River today! It was really great to see people at ODS (even though that's not my site) because Outdoor School really is a great place. I've got such a strong connection to my site especially because I went there as a little kid for years. I consider Namanu to be one of the only places where I feel truly comfortable and know that I can return in however many years and still be in love with it. But it is always nice to see another site to observe how they operate. I still like Namanu so much better than Sandy. I guess everyone has to represent their own site, though. If you dig ODS, you will defend your site at all costs.

I told Dross today about a lot of what I've been thinking about lately, which reminded me that I need to put it down in here. Stuff about extremes, relationships, college, the likes. I'm so glad that we connect on so many levels, and that even when we don't share the same feeling she can still understand it. I'm so lucky that all of my friends are such amazing people. Yes, life!

Oh, TSL's Based on a True Story dropped today. I pre-ordered it, but they sent it on the 6th so I wont get it for a while. Bummer. I can't wait!
