Okay so I'm gonna do the prom update thing, but since I had 2590253 things that also went down, we're starting at friday night:

Friday Night - Workshop I had fun at workshop. This is odd, because I hate workshop. Maybe it had to do with everyone there knowing me and saying hi, or gossiping with Schulte, or seeing two of my fav guy student leaders (they were the only reason that I would have even thought about spending the night, I really would have liked to talk to them more). Whatever it was, I had fun. Driving my dad's car was a plus.

Saturday Morning - Interview Scholarship interview for UC Davis. I realized that I am the most stereotypical, normal highschooler. I volunteer with my mom because I want to help those less fortunate than myself. I play school sports. I take college prep classes. Fuck, I just realized that I didn't talk about ODS. Seeing as it's an interview for leadership, that would have really helped. Oh well.

Saturday Afternoon - Lacrosse Two games. 15-0 (ish) for both. We played South Eugene and Roseburg. The Roseburg girls were HUGE. Nothing really more to say about those. Oh, I played cover-point and point in the South game. I rock the defense. Kind of. Booked it out of there to take a shower at the MAC and headed down to Amore on 9th & Lovejoy.

Saturday Evening - Pre-Prom Got my nails and makeup done. I told the makeup lady that I don't wear much makeup to school, and so she said that she wouldn't do anything "dramatic." Um, did you see me? I really, really, really liked it, though. It made me feel pretty. Rushed to Hat's, straightened my hair, had fun in the tub, and overall took ten years to get out the door. The freaking out about my dress popping/me not fitting into it began. We dropped Hat off at the dinner place so that she could get the table, ran to get Stephens, and had dinner at La Prima Trattoria. Hey, it's fairly close to the Zoo/our houses. I got something with a million mushrooms in it that was super rich and I could only take three bits of before I was full. It was good, though. Stephens and I got quite possibly one of the best drinks ever: some sort of sparkly lemonade-y stuff. Yum times eleven. Back to Hat's, painting toes, fixing dresses, endless pictures. My mom: "Whoa, Stephens!" Me: "Surprise!" Rollin' in the Beamer to the Zoo.

Saturday Night - PROM! First thing we see when we drive up: a police officer talking to some kids in front of their car. Second thing we see: a bottle of alcohol on the hood. Third thing we see: said officer writing up said kids for MIPs. Funny. Prom kicked some major ass. It was slow at first, but once we started dancing it automatically turned into the coolest thing in the world. It was cool to see the teachers there (except one special one wasn't there...sadness). The DJ was bad but played some pretty cool songs. Thriller? Dancing Queen? I think so. A lady hunted me down for an hour to give me some mints. I couldn't believe how nice she was. Jared was the hardest guy to dance with becase he was ten feet tall. Colin hugged me at least five times, and, thanks to a kiss, I no longer bear the title of 'Ice Queen.' Oh, Colin. It was cool re-introducing Noah to everyone that he hadn't seen in four years. I was glad that I knew that Maddy and Marshall won before they announced it (thanks, Rob) because, well, it was. We have a Prom Queen on our lacrosse team! How cute. Everyone looked so pretty, everyone's dresses were beautiful, and it seemed as if everyone was having a great time. I might be the only person who was happy with the choice of the last song, but that's probably because I know every flippin' word of it. SAY MY CHICKENS DON'T DANCE WE JUST PULL UP OUR PANTS AND DO THE ROCKAWAY...Lean Back, fools! We rocked the Beamer on out of that place.

Saturday Late/Sunday Early - Post Prom Bowling? I THINK SO. Got to the bowling alley and waited for Ribecca because somebody got lost :D When we went to pay for bowling, the lady at the counter was checking ID's. We started freaking out because only half of us were 18 and we were afraid that they were going to get us on the silly curfew law. To our delight, she was just checking IDs on credit cards, so we all got to cosmic bowl. I think that Dross and Riley get awards for the most awesome bowling styles. Riley is an old man. Guess who won the first game? Well technically Stephens but I won on my side! 107, baby! Take THAT! But then Hat and Rebecca CRUSHED the rest of us on the second round. We saw some guy DDRing with some pretty hot pants...check out Rebecca's LJ for those. The front was even worse. After two rounds we decided to bizzounce out of that joint and hop on over to another place. I finally stopped complaining about my dress because I was OUT OF IT! Yeah! Thank god for normal clothes. We met up at Hat's house to switch cars and drove downtown to Escape. Yes, the gay club. I still have "GAY" stamped on my arm in rainbow ink. It looks kind of like a bruise. I saw Boston, one of the guys from ODS that I mentioned above. The real dancing started at Escape. No silly right angles, acting out the words with our hands, none of the kind of dancing that went down at prom. Escape saw more 'drop it like its hot' kind of moves. This (assumedly) gay guy asked me to dance, but I was afraid that he'd be so much better than me that I said no. He kept asking, but Jared came to the rescue saying that we were together. Hat and Dross claimed their own "boyfriends," too. Some guy kept dancing with Noah, and Jared got felt up by another guy. It was pretty funny. The Escape was pretty damn cool. We went back to Hat's house to pick up my car, and Hat and I drove back here to go to sleep at around 4:15.

Sunday Woke up at 2. I found out that I had lost some weight, so I ate some INSANELY GOOD ice cream (my reward for shedding lbs by doing absolutely nothing). Dropped Hat off at her house, went to lacrosse practice, and came home. I just realized that I have 152350982 library books that were due today that I have to return and I have to go pick up some stuff from Hat's. I'd get it tomorrow, but my straightener is over there, and I absolutely cannot go to school without my hair looking the same as it does every other day.

All in all, prom/after prom couldn't have gone any better. What a way to end it.
