Life happens in the next week and a half. There's so much stuff going on. Brutal.

Today was so nice. Dropped my mom off at her work at 8:30, but didn't have to be anywhere until 9:30. Since my mom's office is super downtown (in the building where Baskin Robbins is) I hopped on over to Powell's to see if I could pick up a book. Got there before the store opened, so I walked from Burnside down to Johnson on 10th. My mom always told me that she wants us to move down there, but I always protested because I love my house so much. I never realized how flippin' cool it is in NW with all of the new condos and trolley line and all of that. There were little public parks, waterfalls in the middle of buildings, trendy stores (a doggy daycare/spa place? What the crap), beautiful new buildings, wonderfully renovated old ones...I wish that we lived down there so badly. It really is my ideal place to live. Call me a yuppie, but I'm big up on that lifestyle. Too bad we could never get our lives into gear to move out of this house. Plus it's so expensive down there. I mean we could do it, especially if we sold our adjacent lot, but...oh well. Maybe while Cal is still here they'll move. I doubt it, though. We've got 19 years of living in this house.

Wow, tangent. So I took a nice 18-or-whatever block walk and went back to Powell's. I bought Fear and Loathing: On the Campaign Trail '72. I was going to get Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but they didn't have it. Looks like they ran out.

BREAKING NEWS- My dad just called me from Seattle (he's on a business trip). Apparently, Lake Oswego made the news there about their actions at the Lincoln/LO game! Whoa! Way to go, LO, your awesomeness hit all the way to Seattle.

My spanish IB oral went really, really well. Profe Willard really liked my topic (Chiapas) and thought that I knew a lot about it. She said that my spanish was really good and that I did a really good job overall. Really? Really.

History was so, so, so excellent. We watched the end of Evita and, because Snyder was in a super awesome mood, we sung 'Don't Cry For Me, Argentina' to Curry and Jenkins' classes. Marshall is flippin' awesome. We ran into Jenkins' room while singing and she loved it. She even sang with us. Oh man, we had fun with that.

Spanish volunteering was spanish volunteering. Afterword I went to Radio Shack to pick up a solar cell. I hate going in there because they always treat me so childishly because I'm a preppy blonde teenager. They make me feel so stupid. They probably don't do it on purpose, but that's always how it feels. In order to feel better about being a chick, I went tanning. Hey, Wolff was, like, a minute away! I can't wait until I get money from my mom so I can buy a package so it will cost less in the long run. Then I came home, cursed how far away Easter is, and got ready for lacrosse. Then life happened as usual.

Davis stuff is mailed on Tuesday. Even though I'm in I'm still so nervous. I want it now.
