So yesterday was pretty awesome. That seems to be a trend in my entries (days being awesome, that is). Oh I guess that it started out crappily--I accidentally turned off my alarm and had to be woken up at 7:15 by my mom. Zero starts at 7:12....smooth, CSB. But I got to Anthro a bit after the bell and started having an awesome day from there. I got a balloon and Oreos and a chocolate pastry of some sort from Dross, and when I went to my locker for the first time during TOK I found AWESOME signs all over it. Thanks so much to Hat, Dross, Rebecca, Lauren, and Mofo for making me super super cool signs!! It made me feel special :D Classes were okay. I carried my balloon around all day. HH was looking really cute in his plaid shirt, but I didn't see him that much. I haven't really seen him many times at all since Tuesday (the most HH-ful day ever). I bought Dross and I a Semi ticket during lunch and HAT BOUGHT A TICKET! YES! I'm so excited!! I'm so glad that you're going now, Hat. We can now bust out the 12STEP!

Shit, I just remembered that I forgot to turn in something for Spanish. Oh well, no big deal.

I found out that for sure I pulled a 4.0 this semester by seeing my 90.3 in Spanish. TOO CLOSE. But that's okay. After school I went to work which went by really fast because there wasn't much for us to do. I came home, found out that Cal got 100 PERCENT on his driving test (YES CALVIN!), and had him drive us to the McMenamin's in Raleigh Hills. We had all of the family there, even my new cousin Augie. GOD it's so weird to have a new cousin, but I could go on for years about that entire situation. I ate half of the pie they had for us. Oops. It was fun. For not wanting anything for my birthday, I got this, this, and this. Holy crap, Batman! would be right. I've never owned anything from Coach before. I found out this morning from my mom why my extended family went all-out though. Apparantly, my grandma didn't make a big deal out of birthdays (they had a lot of financial issues...basically they were poor), and none of them remembered what they had recieved for their 16th or 18th birthdays. Since it was Cal's 16th and my 18th (so a really big deal in itself), they wanted to make a really big impact so that we would remember what we were given, and basically so they could live through us for an evening. I really think that they did do way too much for us and that it was not necessary at all. And I cannot say this enough: I truly did not want anything for my 18th birthday.

I went to Hat's after dinner to hang out with my TGs. Hat and I had a crazy dance party while waiting for Dross to get there. Hat has some killer moves to break out tonight. Once Dross arrived we laxed a bit, and then we talked logistics. I wrote it all out and everything. It was exciting. Then we wrote a proposal to Mirma, and she okayed it. Sweet. I almost fell asleep over there because I was so tired/sick. I went to sleep around midnight and woke up at...

8. 8 AM. WHAT THE CRAP, BODY!? I couldn't fall back to sleep. That's why this entry is so early. I can't sleep. I thought about going on a run, but I then thought that it might be bad to do physical exercise outside while being sick. So I opened more presents...yeah, my mom didn't want to give me my presents yesterday because it wasn't my birthday yesterday. She gave me a photo of a Volvo because I'm getting a headliner for my car!!! SWEET is all I can say. And then there was another Tiffany's box. Yikes. I opened it and found a gold coin...a one hundred dollar gift coin. She said that they were out of stock of the matching earrings, so I can go buy those if I want, or I could buy something else. $100 can't really get you much, so I think that I'm going to save up for this because I've wanted it for years now. Maybe I'll ask for it for graduation and put the $100 towards it. It's so beautiful, I remember falling in love with it when I got my first Tiffany's piece. Hmmm, that reminds me that I probably need to get that polished. My mom and I have matching Tiffany's bangles, how sweet....

I probably sound really rich/stupid/ignorant, huh. I do love my Tiffany's. Speaking of someone who encompasses all of those, I have really awesome news about my mom. I'll talk about it when it's a definite thing. It would make my life and Cal's life pretty awesome.

So Happy Birthday to Calvin and I. Oh crap, Cal's on an 'athletic date' right now! He and this girl from fencing are going running together! "Running," Calvin? Right....what a kid.
