01.31.05 - 12:46 pm I guess that I'll make a quick update before I start my TOK essay. This weekend was fun. A good portion of the Lincoln girls lacrosse team went down to San Diego for a tournament. We played pretty well. We all got a little tan (yes, that includes me!). We stayed at a kind of icky hotel and rented cars from a really icky car rental place. They didn't have a 15 passenger van and so we had to get two minivans, yet we only had one adult. Guess who ended up driving a really crappy Ford Windstar? Driving in California is bad enough, but it's hell to drive a minivan with eight crazy girls in it. It was fun though, and I now have another interesting experience to add to my small collection of, well, interesting experiences. We went to Pacific Beach and hung out on the boardwalk and played in the ocean, and we went to the best frozen yogurt place ever in La Jolla. Freaking-a, La Jolla is so incredibly nice. Damn. Our planes didn't crash, and I got some homework done. I also lost my voice. I sound really sexy right now. Today I've already gone to Lincoln, dropped off a Sweeney essay, and talked to Evan. Yup, I actually talked to him. Don't deny your jealousy, it's okay, I'd be jealous, too. Okay TOK essay, here I come.
